Ami might well be the only grownup among the bunch of kids in her class, but it doesn't make things any easier for her.
Blessed with rare beauty, Ami was plunged into the adult territory of the modeling world from a very young age. She quickly adapted to this kind of life and learned how not to let herself get hurt by others. Ami knows exactly what people expect from her and gives them what they want. She is a talented actress who puts on various masks as she sees fit, slowly worming her way into the hearts of those around her.
But things cannot go on like that forever. When Ami moves away from her hometown to escape from a personal problem, she chances upon a group of friends involved in the usual teenage drama. Except, to Ami's astonishment, they manage to show her how to combat her fears and meet her problem head on. Ami learns that appearances can't fool everyone. Her tough exterior crumbles away and she lets hints of her true personality come to the surface.
But she is not about to let herself be bettered by her immature companions – at the end of the day, they'll all be going at her pace, she swears. After all, she is probably the only one in the group who realizes what the quagmire they have found themselves in is all about.
